Enabling Design
SSA
has a great deal of experience in designing projects compliant with the various
regulations. We also have extensive training in excess of that which is
customarily found in an architects office. We recently completed two
extensive construction projects for the Housing Authority of the City of Las Vegas.
These were done under 504 and a VCA between HACLV and federal agencies.
This was a HUD compliance project. Each square picture above is a link to a cut
sheet for one site. The architectural contract included four separate
construction contracts. Two construction contracts containing 12 separate
sites that are done are shown in completed form. As of this writing two
others containing multiple multifamily sites are shown here in various forms of
fairly far along completion but still incomplete. Those projects that are
unfinished are expected to complete momentarily. We do not intend to go
back and photographically re-document for marketing (here) purposes again.
So what you see was prepared for another reason with a deadline and we think it
looks sufficient for you to get the idea of what it looks like in the end.
As with any design project these are a composite of strict compliance, owners
preferences, consultants input and practicality. You should not think that
because you see something done here that you can do it elsewhere or that what
you see is a "Best Practice." You can conclude that it is compliant with
the mix of situations and regulations that we found in that location.
